Delgosha garden is one of the historical gardens of Shiraz and is located in the area of Saadi’s tomb. The history of development and longevity of this garden goes back to the pre-Islam era and the time of Sassanid rule.
Delgosha garden was at the height of prosperity during the period of Timur Gorkani, so much so that it is said that after seeing it, Timur built a garden with the same name in Samarkand. This garden was also very famous during the Safavid period, so that the name of the garden is often mentioned in the writings and paintings left by the European travelers of that time.
